Late

A funny story - Today was the start of "Walk to School" week so a friend parked her car in the village and proceded to walk her daughter to school. When they reached school (at one minute past nine) they were approached by a women wearing a WSCC jacket and holding a clipboard.

Thinking they were going to be congratulated for their efforts to walk to school, they were instead asked for their names and told they were being noted as being a "late attender"!!!!!!!!!!!!

To add insult they were also given a fact sheet with suggestions for organising themselves to get to school on time in future!

I wonder if this WSCC lady will be at Gatwick when we return from our holiday.....
